Create a Weekly Status Report
Status reports in Completix take about a minute. The page is always live, pulling values directly from your schedule, budget, and RAID log. Review, add narrative context, and post.
Three steps to a posted report
Open the project, review the live values, and post. That is the whole process.
Go to your project's Status page
Select your project and click the Status tab. The page opens in Live Report mode, showing all current values pulled automatically from the rest of the project, health, schedule progress, budget figures, and any RAID items flagged as Key.
Review and fill in your narrative
Check the auto-populated values, then add your written context: Status Summary and Planned for Next Period. Set the Health statuses (Overall, Scope, Schedule, Budget) manually. Any automatic field can be overridden, an edit icon marks it as a manual value, and a re-sync button restores the live figure at any time.
Click Post update
Hit Post update at the top of the page. Completix saves a read-only snapshot dated automatically with today's date and adds it to the left-side navigation. The live view remains active at the top of the list, and all previous posts are accessible below it in chronological order.
The Status page in Live Report mode. The left sidebar shows the history of posted snapshots. The two-column layout surfaces health, schedule, budget, milestones, and RAID items in a single view.
What happens when you post
When you click Post update, Completix immediately captures the current state of every field on the page and saves it as a dated, read-only snapshot. The snapshot is named automatically with today's date and appears at the top of the left sidebar, pushing all previous entries down.
To view any previous report, click its date in the sidebar. The content area switches to that snapshot, clearly marked as read-only. The Live Report entry at the top of the list always returns you to the current, editable view.
The left sidebar shows the full history of posted snapshots. Live Report at the top is always the current editable view; each date below is a read-only snapshot.
Post on the same day each week to keep the history list easy to read. The date used is the day of posting, so posting Monday morning gives you a clean Monday cadence across all reports.
Exporting to PDF
Any posted status report can be exported as a PDF, ready to share with stakeholders outside Completix. Open the snapshot you want to export from the history list on the left, then use the export option at the top of the page. The PDF reflects the report exactly as it was posted, including all health statuses, narrative sections, schedule and budget figures, and key issues.
The Live Report view cannot be exported directly. Post the report first, then export the dated snapshot from the history list.
