Reports
Completix reports are contextual, each report lives where the data lives. Resource effort, timesheet entries, project dashboards, and vacation calendars are all accessible directly from the relevant section of the platform, and export instantly to PDF or CSV.
How reports work in Completix
Reports in Completix follow a simple principle: go to where the data lives, and the report is already there. There is no separate "Reports" module to navigate to. Instead, resource-related reports are found on the Resource pages, and project-related reports are available directly from the project dashboards.
All reports are formatted automatically. Most export as PDF. Where the underlying data supports it, a CSV export is also available, allowing you to work with the numbers in Excel or any spreadsheet tool.
Resource Effort Report (per project)
This report gives you a precise breakdown of how much time each team member has logged against a specific project. You can view approved hours for the current period and a running total to date, alongside any pending (submitted but not yet approved) entries.
Use the calendar on the left to navigate between months. The right panel shows each team member with their individual totals. Switch between the time view and the cost view using the icons at the top of the report.

Resource Effort Report
The overall Resource Effort Report shifts focus from a single project to a single person. It shows you how a resource's time is distributed across every project they are assigned to, giving you a complete picture of their workload and billable involvement over any period.
This report is accessible from the Executive Dashboard under the Resources tab. Like the per-project version, you can toggle between hours and cost views using the icons at the top of the report.
All available report types
The report selector is available from the top bar of any resource page. Click the grid icon and select from the four report types listed below.
| Report | What it answers | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Resource Effort (per project) | How much has each resource logged on this specific project? | Project Team page, clock icon |
| Resource Effort | How is this resource's time spread across all projects? | Executive Dashboard, Resources tab |
| Timesheet Custom Entries | How much time did a resource spend on non-billable activities? | Resource page, grid icon dropdown |
| Overdue Timesheets | Which users have not submitted their timesheet? | Resource page, grid icon dropdown |
Timesheet Custom Entries report
Not all time logged against a timesheet is project-related. Resources can submit custom timesheet entries for activities such as internal meetings, training, or administrative work. This report aggregates those non-billable entries so you can understand how much time your team spends on activities outside of active projects.
Overdue Timesheets report
The Overdue Timesheets report lists every user who has one or more timesheets that have not yet been submitted by their due date. Use this report to follow up with team members before data gaps accumulate, or to identify patterns of late submission across your resource pool.
The report lists each resource by name alongside the periods for which submission is outstanding. It is available from the same grid icon dropdown as the other resource reports.
Project reports and dashboard exports
Project-level reporting works differently from resource reporting. Rather than a dedicated report panel, the dashboards themselves are the report — what you see on screen is a formatted, exportable snapshot of your project or portfolio data.
To export any dashboard view, click the export icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Completix will generate a PDF that matches what is currently displayed, including any active filters or date ranges.
Vacation calendar
The vacation calendar gives you a visual overview of your team's planned absences. You can view all approved vacation periods across your resource pool in a calendar format, making it straightforward to identify coverage gaps before they affect project delivery.
The calendar is also exportable. Click the calendar icon on the resource page to open it, then use the export option to download the current view. This is useful for sharing availability information with project sponsors or for planning resourcing decisions across a quarter.
Export formats
All reports in Completix support PDF export. This is handled automatically — Completix formats and generates the file when you click the export icon, with no manual formatting required.
Where CSV export is available, you will see a separate CSV option alongside the PDF button. CSV exports include the raw underlying data and are designed for use in Excel or similar tools. Not all reports support CSV; the option will appear only where the data structure supports it.
